One of my favorite things to do if there’s a fire pit within eyesight is to roast marshmallows and enjoy a good ole s’more. Unfortunately, that opportunity doesn’t present itself nearly as much as I’d like, so there has to be a good compromise.
Well, here it is.
I can make these ANY time, and they are perfect to throw together quickly. They also disappear very fast when I take them up to Krafty Draft and people get wind of their presence. Taking a bite into this dark chocolate covered candy bar filled with marshmallow creme and graham cracker is sure to satisfy anyone’s craving for s’mores.
S’mores Candy Bars
10 oz. bag Ghirardelli dark chocolate wafers
1 package graham crackers
7 oz. marshmallow creme
Place chocolate wafers in a microwave safe dish and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring each time until melted and smooth. Pour a small amount into each cavity of a candy bar mold, use a small brush and paint the chocolate along the bottom and up the sides. Place in freezer for about 1-2 minutes for chocolate to harden. Spoon marshmallow creme into a pastry bag, snip off the tip and pipe into each cavity into the chocolate. Cut the graham crackers to fit inside the cavities, then press down into marshmallow creme. Spoon a little more chocolate on top of graham cracker, use paint brush to cover completely. Return to freezer to set for about 5 minutes, then remove candy bars from mold.
