Since I’m a huge fan of any type of recipes related to holidays, it only makes sense that I got abnormally excited to make these three cocktails when the month of March hit. Irish Cream liquor is so much more versatile than I ever imagined, and I have been throwing it in many recipes whenever given the opportunity. Well, here’s another opportunity knocking.
When I had leftover beer from making Chocolate Stout Cupcakes with Irish Cream Icing, I couldn’t just throw it away, right? My Grandma never threw ANY food away, but I also see her looking down and furrowing her brow at the sign of alcohol in my house. Sorry, Grandma! I blame your son-in-law!
The Grasshopper Martini is minty, creamy, and sweet. When my husband ventured into the basement while I was making this martini for the video, he was intrigued. He LOVES anything mint. “Oh man, that looks good. Too bad it’s 11am, because I’d like to try that.” He was trying to be productive that day. Pfft.
The Irish Cream Martini was hands down my favorite…in fact, you can see me fussing at myself in the video because I couldn’t stop coming back for more. STOPPIT!!
I’m not a beer drinker, so the Irish Slammer wasn’t my cup of tea…but I can definitely see how someone who is a beer drinker would be very happy with it. Throw some whiskey and Irish Cream in with a stout beer? Hello!!
