Fudge has a reputation for being intimidating, and honestly, it can be — but not this recipe. If you can melt, stir, and pour, you're fully qualified.
I grew up on peanut butter fudge, but this cookies 'n cream version made my knees buckle the first time I tried it. I'm always on the hunt for a good knee-buckling recipe, and this one earns its spot. It's also perfect for gift-giving, especially around the holidays when I'm putting together treat boxes for people I love. Food is love, after all.
Ingredients
- 18 oz. white chocolate chips
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups Oreo cookies, broken into thick pieces
Instructions
- 1Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish with wax paper.
- 2Melt the white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk in a small saucepan over low-medium heat, stirring constantly so the chocolate doesn't scald.
- 3Once the mixture is completely melted and smooth, remove from heat and stir in the Oreo pieces.
- 4Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish and spread into an even layer.
- 5Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set. Turn out onto a cutting board, peel off the wax paper, and cut into squares.
