Cookie Dough Dip

An egg-free, no-bake cookie dough dip that tastes just like the bowl you'd sneak bites from as a kid — creamy, sweet, and loaded with mini chocolate chips.

Eating raw cookie dough is one of life's simple pleasures, and I was chased out of the kitchen for sneaking bites of it constantly as a kid. Back then I had zero interest in learning how to bake — I just wanted to eat whatever I could get my hands on.

This dip lands right in the sweet spot between dessert and appetizer, and it disappears fast at parties the second people hear the words "cookie dough dip."

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
  2. 2Add both sugars and the vanilla, and continue beating at medium speed until everything is well blended and creamy.
  3. 3Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  4. 4Spoon into a small serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. 5Remove from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving to let it soften slightly.
  6. 6Serve with graham crackers, shortbread cookies, Nilla wafers, and/or pretzels.
