St. Patrick's Day gives me the perfect excuse to play with Irish Cream and other green-tinted drinks, and this one is at the top of the list. My husband, who loves anything mint, walked in while I was filming this one and immediately wanted a taste — even though it was 11 a.m. and he was supposed to be being productive.
It's cool, creamy, and tastes like an after-dinner mint grew up and got a lot more fun.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. creme de menthe
- 2 oz. creme de cacao
- 2 oz. half and half
Instructions
- 1Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously.
- 2Strain into a martini glass, or divide between shot glasses.
