The first time my mom made this, I said, "Turkey tenderloin? I didn't even know those existed!" I expected it to be dry, but it came out incredibly moist. She'd adapted the original recipe — a pork tenderloin with soy sauce — by swapping in turkey and coconut aminos for a lighter, Whole30-friendly version.
It's Paleo, Keto-friendly, and makes enough for about 6 servings, so I usually have a couple of portions left over for lunch the next day.
Ingredients
- 24 oz. package turkey tenderloins
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp. coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp. Montreal steak seasoning
Instructions
- 1Pour the olive oil and coconut aminos into a slow cooker, then sprinkle the seasoning evenly over the bottom.
- 2Add the turkey tenderloins, turning to coat both sides in the oil and seasoning.
- 3Cook on low for 2 hours, or until a thermometer reads at least 165°F.
- 4Switch to warm, slice, and serve.
Tips
- This pairs perfectly with a side of Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts or a simple salad.
